Food

Note
Gels are only available at VP 5+6. Please only take one gel per person at each station.There are no disposable cups at the VPs. The goodie bag contains a foldable cup.
2. Navigation and security
Road traffic
- The StVO (road traffic regulations) applies
- Instructions of the marshals must be followed
- Always walk on the left shoulder opposite the dircetion of traffic when on public roads
- Road traffic / vehicles of all kinds have priority

Hazards
- In some places there is a risk of falling
- In caves pay attention to restricted height
- Forestry work cannot be completely excluded
- The mountain rescue service Forchheim/Pottenstein in action during the race
3. Rules and support
Behavior
- In the event of excessive demands, unsportsmanlike behavior, shortcuts, vehicle use or littering, it is at the discretion of the race management to disqualify participants and exclude them from the event
- Sweepers will remove runners from competition who are not able to stay ahead of the cut-off times
- Personal support is only permitted at the defined VPs
- Pacemakers and support runners are not permitted
4. Equipment
Mandatory equipment
- Mobile phone with stored phone number of the race director
- GPX capable device (smartphone/navigation watch) with route data
- Trail running shoes
- min. 1 liter liquid
Equipment recommendation
- First aid kit
- Weatherproof clothing
- Poles
- Running backpack/vest
- Drinking container
- Energy food
5. Behavior in case of emergency / DNF
- In case of emergency or dropping out immediatley inform race management
- A non-emergency DNF can be communicated via SMS, stating the race bib number
- In case of dropping out without medical indication, pick-up service from the nearest VP is possible
